Lifetime warranty

Every Maverick Unity piece is covered by a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. This page sets out exactly what that means, so there is nothing to interpret later.

What is covered

• Manufacturing defects. Faults present in the piece as it left production, including forming faults and finishing defects that were there on arrival.
• Structural failure. A piece that cracks, splits or deforms in normal domestic use.
• Weld failure. Any seam or joint that separates or fails in normal domestic use.
• Abnormal corrosion. Rust or pitting appearing on the stainless steel in normal use and with the care instructions followed. AISI 304 should not corrode under domestic conditions, and if it does, that is a materials fault.

What is not covered

• Scratches, scuffs and marks from normal use, including cutlery marks and surface dulling on a mirror finish. These are cosmetic and expected on stainless steel.
• Water spotting, tea staining or mineral deposits from hard water or from storing the piece before it is fully dry.
• Damage from abrasive cleaners, steel wool, scouring pads or harsh chemicals.
• Damage from misuse, including use on a heat source, cutting directly on the surface, or use outside normal food service.
• Accidental damage, including dropping, impact and denting.
• Commercial or rental use.
• Normal wear over years of service.

Who is covered

The warranty is offered to the original purchaser and is not transferable. It does not apply to pieces bought second hand.

How to claim

Use the contact form and include your order number, the date of purchase, and photographs showing the problem. If you bought through Amazon, Amazon Buyer-Seller Messaging works equally well and keeps your order details attached.

We assess claims individually. Where a claim is accepted we will repair or replace the piece, at our discretion. Where a piece is no longer produced we will offer the nearest current equivalent.

Your statutory rights

This warranty is given in addition to your rights under consumer law and does not affect them. Depending on where you bought the piece, you may also have rights against the seller, including under Amazon's own returns and guarantee policies, which operate separately from this warranty.

Registration

None. There is no form to fill in and no deadline to miss. Your order record is your proof of purchase.
